That's a good trick. I like! Do you just set it on top of tank? Just sit? I'll talk to my niece on the line and new vent. She manages an AutoZone. Handy for supplies at 30% off. I have some serious cleaning tomorrow to even be ready to put in. Thinking Sun. If all goes well. Thanks for the tip.

Once the tank is mostly in place you can just push it up inside the frame rail with the other lines. At least that's how I remember it. I admit I had a lot of distractions that week. Also, I raised the front of the bed before dropping the tank so I had access to the top and bottom.
If you feel like reading through my million post thread about it all, here it is, but I must warn you we covered a lot of territory in that thread:
I just browsed through it. I followed most of that post. I had same oring in regulater plunger fail on me to. That's what started my journey. Replacing oring didn't solve problem.
I'm gonna attach my line to others on rail with a zip tie if possible.
Installing the filler pipe / vent pipe after the tank is in-place, in-vehicle seems easier from my work. Key is lubricating the filler port and vent ports on the tank so hose installation goes smoothly, then using worm drive clamps with the inner tails to protect the hose (not the standard chitty worm drive clamps), a 5/16" (wobble) socket /extension accessed from the rear of vehicle (shorter distance) to tighten the clamps.
I think your Wright. Not sure if it does matter? I'LL probably switch it though. If not, it'll drive me nuts thinking about it. Or worse blame future problems on it. Good catch Thanks.
