Tranny time
G,day. I have a 2011 6.7 with a 6r140. Been making lots of noise in 2nd when hot. I would manually shift it to 3rd to get around it. The the other day it started when it was cold and while downshifting went into 5th. Dropped the tranny pan, and it was clean, no shrapnel.. put in filter and filled. Then cold, first and second were noisy.
loaded new tune as well, did not change.
Decided to put in a valve body. Dropped the pan and as I was removing the fluid tube noticed that one of the bolts on the fluid tube flange was missing. It had never been installed. Could the missing bolt be my problem?
