Noticed parking cable rubbing on the bottom leaf. Don't know how it got this way. Tried to move away from the leaf . Leaf is rubbing a hole in the cover. How is this cable suppose to be routed? Rubbing the bottom leaf
1. See if you can route it up so it rubs on the side of the spring, not on that sharp end.
2. I cut a piece (about a foot long) from an old 5/8" water hose, sliced it open and slid it over the cable to protect it. Hold it in place with tie wraps.
