66 Emergency Brake Cable
Hello forum, my f250 emer. brake cable , after it leaves the drum, is routed OVER the leaf springs on one side, and UNDER on the other side. Any one know which is correct? thanks to all

I didnt see a definative pic in the parts catalog covering the 65-66 trucks...However, the 67 trucks the left side is routed under the spring and retained to the spring by a special clamp...It doesnt specify about the RH side...
If the cable looks relaxed in the positions they are routed I would leave well enough alone. If it appears something is at a difficult or tight curve, etc...change it.
As I recall off the top of my head both of mine are routed under the springs...
