It would be nice to have a big piece of that tree. I have seen some of the Woodwrights here use steel band on large tree sections while drying.
Yep....
I am going to try to make sure my nephew doesn't start cutting up that tree trunk into slabs until he gets some advice from someone who KNOWS how to deal with it.
That motor sure does look nice, exactly what I have to put in my 56 Mercury but mine will need a lot of work to look that pretty. Do you have a build thread for it..
There's a lot gone already, but we're used to the differences.
Air pump & plumbing is gone. shorter belt. TB cooling, conversion to electric fan inside stock shroud with adjustable thermostat.
Manifolds to headers, Solenoids eliminated save for EGR, wiring cleaned up. coil mount cut down. Cut the ears off the E4OD for better removal.
Head light relays & battery power direct, rather than through the switch. It'll have an catch can eventually. Little things, but they add up to easier living & performance.
John, haven't looked at your build in some time & had to go back & catch up. Really marveled at your welding skills & ability to make swiss-cheese look good.
