Brake problems

I have a 2000 f350 7.3 and about a month ago I blew a high pressure power steering line so I went to auto zone and got both new high pressure lines and replaced them after replacing my brakes did not work right while driving straight when you hit them they pulse and don’t have the stopping power but if the steering wheel is turned they seem to work normal so I blamed power steering pump for low pressure needless to say I put 3 different pumps on it and also replaced the hydro booster and still the same problem I have no idea what else to try has anyone else has this problem

Did you bleed the Power steering?

Lift the truck off the ground and turn the steering wheel back and forth lock to lock. Otherwise you may need to bleed the brake lines and check the fluid at the calipers.

If you didn't bleed the system then you're going to have issues. Basically through the process above, and I mean doing it for 5 minutes or so. Don't crank fast, but make sure you hit each lock several times and hold it at lock for a moment each time. Check PS fluid level and fill/repeat until it doesn't go down anymore.

You replaced both high pressure lines (and it sounds like other components as well), you're going to have air in the system, and it doesn't come out quickly with normal driving.

Bleeding the brakes is also a good idea, just to have eliminated that as a potential issue.

I’ve tried bleeding it like that and even cracking the lines but nothing seems to help
