Explorer Front Strut Replacement

Went at it again yesterday, The tie rod end removal trick worked after heating it's seat. Got everything disconnected and the strut wouldn't budge. Had to reassemble everything yet again. The tie rod end ball joint was in rough shape, so I went back and replaced it today. I'll have to put this off until someone who has done this can help me with it. I must say an impact wrench is a definite plus and that the tie rod end needs to be released in the manner shown on the youtube video.
