2002 may not tach bounce when cranking.

Yeah it was a Genuine Ford ICP, not the CPS though it's a Delphi which seemed like a reputable OEM-ish parts supplier

. I have some educated help coming tonight to hopefully sort it out, I'll let you know what we find.

There are no Good aftermarket CPS’s for these trucks.

The CPS is almost never the problem. Unless it’s an aftermarket CPS - then it usually is the problem.

Back up a minute. He seems to have at least a couple of things going on here at once. The electrical MAY have been solved with the ICP and CPS (although as stated the CPS needs to be a genuine International or Ford one), but he mentioned the HPOP oil level

This needs further investigation and/explanation. How far down was the oil in the HPOP reservoir when you pulled the plug?
