Truck Cranks but Wont Start
I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to diesel trucks and my 7.3L PSD F-350 will not start. About 6 months ago the truck started having issues with stuttering and whenit turned out to be an issue with the fuel injectors. It was way too expensive for me to fix so I've been just babying it as when it had a bit to warm up before driving the stuttering didn't happen. Fast forward to now and it's cranking and wont start.I was wondering if anyone knows how I would go about diagnosing this myself and perhaps getting it to start and also if the two issues are connected. Any input would be appreciated.

What kind of temps are you dealing with right now? Does it smoke when you crank it? There is a link in my signature that will help you troubleshoot your truck. If you don't already have it you should get an OBDII adapter and software so you can diagnose your truck. Bluetooth adapter for Android phones and WIFI adapter for Apple products.

If the injector diagnosis was correct, then the things that can help are plugging the truck in for a few hours before you want to start it and switching to a synthetic oil.
If money is really tight and you want to get a feel for exactly which injectors are bad and do just a couple at a time, pull the valve covers and have someone try and start the truck while you watch to see how much, if any, each injector is spitting oil out of the discharge spout. Start by replacing the ones that spit the least amount of oil. (don't buy rebuilt injectors from Pensacola diesel - way too many horror stories about bad rebuilds over and over).
If you're not sure it's the injectors, you can still do the visual test, but otherwise keeping an open mind and starting the troubleshooting over would be a good move.
