My Sync updated last week and totally ruined it's functionality for me... I have a big USB drive with a ton of music on it. On our way out of town over the weekend, wife was trying to switch albums and the browse/search function is does not work... cause the vehicle is in motion.

I mean, I get it, but that's ridiculous. 3 hours on the highway and I can't switch albums.... I can't browse for songs at all. It's listen to what you're listening to or pull over and stop so you can browse. Any workarounds? We got a 15+ hour trip coming up in a few months and ~700 miles per tank. I want to set my truck on fire just thinking about it.

 

maybe go through “settings” and see if there’s some new option to restrict that checked that is causing it and uncheck it.

 

Nope, done all that. Nothing can be done as far as I can tell.

Says, "some options are disabled while vehicle is in motion"...

 

Maybe Forscan could modify it? I’m not familiar with it, so I don’t know.
