So, After doing a big Turbo, Plenum, Injector, Fuel system install it seems like I've had my PCM in and out of the truck a half a dozen times, fast forward to the other day and I was heading in to work and my truck just quit on me about a mile from the house. So after paying way to much to tow (flat bed) it to my house I checked the connection of my PHP Hydra after removing the PCM and for some reason it seemed a little loose, which is weird cause I taped the crud out of it, but OK. I Made sure I had a solid connection and put it all back together and went to put it back in the truck and I broke the hold down bolt in half while tightening it up .
So now with half the bolt in the PCM, I've got it drilled and am trying to get it extracted without ruining the threads, but its going to be close. My hole was a little off and i'm close to the threads, I also accidentally tried a crew extractor first and made to hole a little larger than I wanted, like I said, "Meathead strikes again!". My question is, will the bolt come out of the harness side easily? It's a "kept" bolt, or am I screwed! haha get it? see what I did there?
I would guess that you are going to figure out how to disassemble the PCM connector in order to replace the bolt......that obviously holds the engine in the truck.
