Unhappy Battery boost at 24V - electrical problems galore

Hi folks,
The battery on my 2006 Lincoln Navigator was dead, so had a buddy "help" me boost it...he mistakenly turned the battery charger voltage from 12V to 24V and when I went to crank it over, the 24V got applied in the accessory position for about 10 seconds. Electrical smoke drifted from under the dash, smelled it and turned off the key, and hollered at him to turn off the battery charger. Afterwards, it does start and drive, but alot of electrical functions don't work:
Head-lights won't come on.
Tail-lights stay on all the time.
Etc.
I'm hoping to be able to change various fuses and fuse-box relays that failed, to get functionality back. Has anyone else faced this scenario, and can anyone give me some advice on what/how to troubleshoot.
Thanks!

all I can offer is what you mention - check all the fuses and wiring.

For what it’s worth, this is a good reason to not charge a battery while it is connected. It’s easy to unhook the cables, charge it up, then re-connect. There was a thread over the past year that said I was wrong, but......

Good luck

The damage is done...one or more electronic modules were blown, possibly the instrument cluster itself.

I'm pretty sure the 06 Navigator doesn't have a GEM.

Thanks!
Got it running, as you suggested tested fuses and relays in the fusebox down on the passenger side and had to change out a few of the Relays and 2 fuses in the fuse box. The only thing that didn’t come back to life is the DISPLAY screen on the OEM nav/radio/cd, although Cd’s still play fine.
