Just want to say thank you so much. Ordered the exact same parts OEM off eBay and now have factory remote start installed on my 2015 F150. My local dealer cut the keys for only $10.
The only hiccup I ran into was that I needed newer version of the OBDII forscan dongle. My old one with the physical MS/HS switch I guess is no longer able to program new key FOBs.
I got the new 4 button key and it won’t program for some reason. I got it cut at the dealer and put a new battery in it, any idea as to why it won’t work? I don’t want to skip this step since you say the old keys won’t work
EDIT FIGURED IT OUT, had to use different sequence than what my manual said Quote:
Insert 1st original key and cycle from off to run (not start) eight times (back to back)
Turn to off position and remove key
Insert 2nd original key and cycle from off to run two times back to back
Dash displayed my SecuriCode keypad door code
Turn to off position and remove key
Insert new key and cycle from off to run leave in until dash displays Key Programmed
Key Programmed might not display but you should hear the door locks actuate.
Remove key and check that the unlock /lock buttons work. Then try the remote start button. If it all works you're good to go
Hello, I did the same thing but i couldnt get the remote keyless entry to work on the 4 button 902hz fob. but i can get it to start the truck in the ignition. I have replaced the RTM with a F2GT-15K619-CB from a different vehicle and i couldnt get key to unlock or lock or such, not responsive at all. Factory keys are the 3 button 315hz.
I have used chatgpt to try get it figure out but it is very good at being confidentially wrong lol. I check its work with the Forscan 2015-2020 F150s - Livinitup google sheet and changed to allow remote start and to try get RTM to work or see if the BCM needs programed to accept 902hz fobs now from 315hz but no luck? (this could also be a cheap clone thats not actaully 902hz key that wireless entry dont work??
It now wants me to Run PATS to wipe and reprogram keys as it will program the RTM with the porper VIN to communicate possibly??? but i am not sure if i should try that or not? As i do get the keys to show the keypad code and can program new key and does the hazard light flash and door actuates afterwards but still no luck on the remote. Thank you

Did this work for you? I beleive that RTM is a single 902mhz module correct? We dont need the dual frequency module?
