I want to do some towing mirrors, and I am hoping to keep it simple, here is what im hoping to find,
Turn Signal - preferably clear non-smoked lens, with LED or that i can put an LED bulb in.
Power adjust for the mirror glass
Heated it possible.
No need for power fold, or power telescoping.
Preferably with a chrome top, but not a deal breaker
As plug and play as possible, understanding though that i will likely need to run a wire for the turn signal function. I don't mind running 1 wire, i do not want to be re-splicing harnesses if i can avoid it.
I am fine with knock off mirrors from amazon as long as they are functional and decent quality.
Rather than take random chances im sure a lot of you can recommend good mirrors for me, and save me the trial, error, and mis-fortune.
I'm with Mark on the mirrors from 1aauto, I have the smoked turns/running lights, power glass and heat with chrome caps (set came with paint to match caps also) in the '08 style and they were 100% plug and play on my '05 XLT.

How much lift is that on your signature picture exactly?

In that picture from right after the spring swap (modded X codes and modded B codes) it is still on the old 32" tires, currently on 35"s, it has 3 7/8" lift over stock up front and 5.5" on the rear.
I installed similar mirrors, the TRMRP00020 Trail Ridge mirrors from Iaauto a couple of months ago and really like them!

I have the same mirrors. They have everything including power fold. Being an urban assault vehicle, the power folding really comes in handy especially when parked in parking lots with vehicles on both sides. The mirrors are huge and you can see soo much! I swapped out the incandescent bulbs for led's and couldn't be happier!
I've been happy with mine as they have the 08 bodies with the 17 led lighting, and in addition they have led puck lighting to light up the side of the truck at night which makes it nice. I really like the work lighting like the 17's have...holly cow are they bright!

which brand / model did you go with to get those 17 led's?
I also have theTR 00020. Plug and play on my 03, just had to run the wire for the running lights. Great mirrors, much larger field of view than the factory towing mirrors.
