Unable to remove from Steering Column
1997 F250HD, I am sure this has probably been covered on this forum but looking for ideas before I take steering column apart again. Am unable to remove key from ignition, unable to move key back to full off position, transmission selector seems okay. When it first started I would be able to play with Steering wheel tilt a bit then key would move to correct position and no issue removing. Should have addressed it then but did not, now I am unable to remove the key or get the ignition switch to the full back off position. Looking for suggestions before I pull the Steering column, I use this truck quite a bit. Thanks

Turn key to on and depress the button underneath that releases the lock cylinder. Stick a screwdriver in and see if you can then turn to lock as normal. If so, probably a bad lock cylinder. They are cheap but I recommend you get a Motorcraft one - the no-name ones at Advance and Autozone are not good.
