I wouldn't go back to green if the system has already been switched to Gold. The Gold is a far superior coolant. Yes the coolant goes in the tank.
Ya, going back to the green saves me about 20 bux. Not worth it. The gold lasts much longer too, huh? But, the dex-cool isn't the gold stuff that I need? I have to find the other stuff. I think NAPA has the Zerex.

No the dexcool is not gold. You can get the Zerex G-05 everywhere coolant is sold.
Oreilly didn't have the zerex g 05. I returned the dex and got the right stuff at a NAPA store. Oh and I got a discount. I'd forgotten that one of my daughters friends works there.
