Vacation tours and improvements on 6.0s
Thanks for the idea!!!
At the BD clamps you can clearly see the strong spring. The clamps I have, have clearly too weak springs. They also have edges as sharp as a knife.
I can provide the Kramp clamps with a longer screw and a strong spring. That should be the solution.

4' Costco stepladder that has a larger top step. A couple of foam 2'x2' floor "tiles" to kneel on. The tarp is a great idea and will be added. It might as well rain while you are broke down. Good for sun too.
Thanks to you all I could solve my blower motor problem quickly. If you were here with me, we could all enjoy one of the best German beers together :-)
cheers guys.

We have ridden 4314KM so far, many KM off the official roads. On the map these are the small, white roads. But now I've enough of them, we will now mainly use the bigger roads. The stones thrown up by the front wheels are thrown against the doors, you can hear it in the video below. The stones have flown to the back of the water tanks behind cab.

Tomorrow we drive east to Luleå and back to the water.

A MUST for me on vacation in Sweden are "Biltemas", a mixture of a hardware store and a car parts shop. In there you can find everything a man's heart desires. In front of this market was a big parking lot where some of the biggest trucks in Europe were parked. I walked along them, length was 26m (im GER max 18,5m). The "indicators" on the rear wheels are a good idea, I suppose they are mounted to show the brakes frozen in winter.

We continue to take small roads, but none more without asphalt and crossing sweden southwards in a "zigzag course". There are often animals on the roads.

we now have exactly one week until we drive home. Whether we take the ferry from Norway to Denmark or from Sweden directly to Germany, we do not know yet. In the meantime we were in central Sweden in the very west at the Norwegian border. Now it goes again southwards. We come again and again to beautiful places, but it rains from time to time.
the 6.0 eats 18,5L/100KM (1,27mpg) I think this is an acceptable value for such a heavy vehicle.

Has Europe gone to the Ultra-low sulfur diesel yet? We've got multiple class-action lawsuits here in the states regarding how engines were designed for the better European diesel and not the ****-water we have here which causes issues. Mostly around the Bosch CP4.2 they use in the 6.7L Ford and LML Duramax.
Do you know the average Cetane rating of the diesel you're purchasing?
Oh and pics are still amazing, still jealous you can take so much time off...
