7.3 - 1316 IDM Code - Dead Bank Changes Side to Side

It sounds like intermittent connections to me. Wiggling wires might not catch a corroded pin/contact in a connector. How about pulling the 42 pin connector and inspecting for corrosion or burnt pins? Same with each side of the valve cover gasket connectors. Maybe the IDM as well, since it's been touched. Pull and inspect, clean and reseat. Replace questionable UVCH or gaskets with OEM, not aftermarket.

In the 7.3L PSD Tech Folder you will find a Connector Catalog that will list and give you information on most connectors found in our trucks.
Based on the catalog, the "brake fluid level" sensor is pictured below...

So just Ohm tested the IDM connector as per the guide in FTE Tech. All checks at 3.5-3.6 except #3 cylinder which was 2.8 which is the cylinder that codes said had a problem. Both #2 test and #3 came up open. I have been over the 42 pin connector. One wire was rubbing on the VC but not rubbed through. Actually all the wiring looks really good. Any thoughts ???

That's very commend for the wire rubbing on valve cover. It will short out one side or shut it off dead. Can't speak for the values, not my expertise. But you can move the injectors around to see if it follows. Repair the rubbed wire for sure. If I remember right you changed the IDM? If so you could of got a bad one, it has happened, even with swamps back when.

Solus should be able to monitor PID’s and perform more on-board diagnostic tests than the apps...
You can try swapping #3 solenoid with another injector and see if the problem follows.
The IDM has (4) circuits and switches from bank to bank (L/R heads) as commanded by PCM. Failing to switch banks is a common failure mode for IDM and P1316 is often a ‘death code’ - but, make sure it’s not a wacky solenoid pissing the IDM off before buying another IDM.
