Has anyone coated their roof?
Something I’m considering is having my roof coated with bed liner like Bullet Liner or Line-X. It would be an opportunity to dig out the old crappy looking seal in the channels, it can be color matched, and never need waxing cause it’s textured. An additional benefit is sound deadening.
I’m interested in knowing if anyone has done this and please post pictures. It would be great to see where your edges are.

On a related note, I had an extended E-350 van that was black. After the valet damaged/scraped the top paint trying to drive it into a parking garage, I had just the top painted gloss white. I swear the van was 15-20 degrees cooler inside when sitting out in the summer sun. Best $1,000 I ever spent. White paint went to edge of drip rails, but not over them.

I've been tempted to use the white rubberized RV roof paint on my beigish brown.... https://www.smartrving.net/best-rv-roof-coatings/
Do the bedliner coatings, which will be A Lot more durable come in colors, like white? Edit: That was a dumb question.... yes, they do...

I think you'd go right to the doors on the roof.

If you live in a warm / hot climate, I can second the cooling benefits of a lighter color. My Excursion is white, we have a black Subaru Forester. Night and day difference. If I leave the Forester parked outside all day, I have to run the AC on max for a long time to cool everything down. The Excursion cools down very fast in the same situation even though it has how many times the interior volume. UPS trucks here (Miami) all have the roofs painted white.

I haven't done the roof yet. I meant you could see the texture of the thinned Raptorliner. I don't think I would want the rough texture on the roof.

I live were moss grows on anything that it can grab hold of. I'd worry about moss growing like crazy on a textured surface like these. I honestly don't know how to deal with clear coats on these two stage finishes. Can't you just lightly sand the clear coat off to the base coat on the failing areas and then respray the clear?
