Hay everyone, the blower motor in my 2015 f 350 6.7 has quit. The fuses and relays check good, the compressor is working because I get cold air when driving. Has anyone had this problem.
Anyone have any clues before I start the trouble shooting guide in Mitchell manual its quite long.
Thanks
You check fuses 23, 46 and 50 under the hood int he Battery Junction Box?
You might have a bad blower motor speed controller. You can remove the blower motor and see if it runs or you might be able to use test light on the plug to see if it is getting 12vdc.
If bad speed control module, it means removing the dash to replace it as it is on the back of the HVAC box. If you remove the HVAC, you might as well change the Evap core also. They are known to leak,
The blower motor can be removed with minimal problems. If you search this forum or the 6.7 forum, you can find where people have replaced their blower motor in the 2011-2016 trucks.
I changed the blower on a 2011,it can be done without removing the dash. I dont remember if you cn remove plug without removi g to see if it has power. There was no question mine was bad,I could make it work for a while by hitting it
2015 F250 Super Duty with gas engine. My blower suddenly quit. This thread gave me a lot of great ideas. I was able to hit my blower with a wrench and bring it back to life for a little while.
There is a great YouTube video on replacing the blower motor.
