Tailgate lock

So if the power portion of the tailgate ****s the bed how do you open it up manually. Don't want to be left with my pants down not knowing the procedure. 2019 Lariate

I'm not sure of the process but if thieves can steal my tailgate and tail lights in under 5 minutes I'm sure it can be done.
