Is the bed that was used on the 62/63 "wrong beds" the same as the bed used on the 57 thru 60 F100 short bed trucks? I have searched this but I have not found the answer. I know the wheel base of the the trucks are different but I that doesn't mean the beds are different. I'm asking because I have a bed for sale and I want to be sure it's listed correctly.
I cannot tell you dimensions, and I had never really thought about long/short wrong-beds, to be honest. But as I understand it, they are simply the previous generation’s beds, so 57-60 is correct, and you should be able to use those dimensions.
The info. I have found shows the 61-64 F100 4x2 is 114" WB and the 57-60 is 110". So I will wait until hopefully someone that knows for sure will chime in. Thanks

1957/60 Styleside beds also installed on some 1961/66's. Called the "wrong" beds, because the cab lines don't match up to the bed lines.

Thanks NumberDummy for the Facts. Glad your here. Also the facts in regards to the wheelbase dimensions I had posted above came from the FORDification.info web page, but there was no clarification in regards to the beds being exactly the same even though the short bed wheel bases are different. I was assuming the beds were the same and the difference was in the cabs. But I wasn't comfortable running on an assumption as this bed could very well end up being acquired buy someone in a different state. Thanks again ND.
