Greetings,
I have a 2014 F350 Diesel SRW that has "Hill Descent Control FAULT" and "Service AdvanceTrac" warnings that started right after disconnecting my trailer. Pulled the codes from the ABS system, and have the following:
C0061: Lateral Acceleration Sensor
C0063: Yaw Rate Sensor
C0062: Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor
C0064: Roll Rate Sensor
U1A00: Private Bus Circuit (This DTC sets in continuous memory if the RTM communication bus reset counter reaches zero. This is most likely due to a circuit failure in the LIN , an internal failure of the BCM or an internal failure of the RTM)
It sounds like a communication problem with the BCM to me, since all 4 went out simultaneously, but I'm pretty much out of my depth on this. Any troubleshooting suggestions? Fuse? Relay? Loose Wire? Replace BCM? Ghost ride off cliff?
Hoping someone might be able to point me in a direction.
It's the giant electrical connector attached to the parking brake bracket way up under the dash, driver's side footwell. Disconnect it, put it back together then take it off the parking brake bracket and zip tie it to the dash crossmember to keep it from happening again.

Many have had the same problem, myself included.
Hopefully somebody can help with this. Having same problem and I'm gonna try to use this fix. Out of curiosity tho would this cause any sort of short in the electrical system or anything? Causing alternator to go out along with a hot wire next to battery on passenger side in the plastic box?
I have the same codes and light on as the OP. I have disconnected and cleaned the connector by the e brake, disconnected the abs one and cleaned it as well. Was wondering what the OP has done and if his is fixed? I do not have any other warnings or messages just the stability light is on. I have also cleared the codes with an ABS reader and they still return.
There is a very large connector above the spare tire
drop the spare
disconnect the two large connectors and clean them with electrical contact cleaner. Do not put heavy grease based products on the connector reassemble.
another point of contention is the rear and front abs sensors…make sure there is no grease or what ever on the sensors and the wires..nothing…clean…clean…clean.
speakerfritz, thanks. I will clean those connectors tomorrow. It would not surprise me if those connectors are the point of my issue. When this issue started, the light would come on and off randomly, I would also hook up a trailer and the problem would be less random.
I will also look into the abs sensors next weekend. I have never had an abs light come on, so I never considered them.
Struck out with connectors by the spare tire. I cleaned them and no change. Light is still on for the stability control. I have checked the fuse in the kick panel and it is good (#33 I believe). Anyone know what color wires come from the restraint control module? When I looked at the connector attached to the E brake, I did not see any broken wires, pins were all straight the female mating parts were all locked in place.

Curious if you found a solution, i'm having the exact same codes.
