Tow mirror upgrade issues

Good morning everyone,

Been trying to figure out how to replace my factory side mirrors and upgrade to towing mirrors. I have a 2017 F150 Platinum Supercrew and have looked on this site at numerous threads and still can't figure out which mirrors to purchase. The usual answer comes down to 8 pin v. 22 pin. I do not have just one plug to simply adapt to new mirror but two different plugs (see attached pictures), a small one with 4 pins and a large one with 18 pins( equals 22 of course) but none of the threads have addressed 2 separate plugs and looking on Amazon/Ebay/Internet sites, they seem to show switching out only one plug for another.

My current mirrors have the usual bells and whistles, puddle light, heated, power adjustment, lane warning light ( cars approaching on either side of the road)

Any advise and specific mirrors/companies to order from would be appreciated.

Pretty sure I recall reading something several months ago on F150forum.com about an additional wiring harness needed to gain all functionality on higher trim level mirrors when installing an aftermarket product (Syppos are popular). I believe the 'go to' online retailer for the harness was 1A Auto. I did a quick search at the forum and 1A to see if I could locate something but no luck.

Did find this while searching though:

Your truck is only compatible with the Ford mirror that has the BLIS module. There is no aftermarket mirror that will work. The mirrors are available for 3300.00 for the pair.

What is the BLIS module, and how do you know if you have to have those mirrors?

Looking at doing this to my wife's 2019, I don't know which mirrors she has yet as I haven't dug into it, but this info could be useful.

After continuing to look online, I decided to email Boost Auto Parts about their aftermarket mirrors. Received an email reply within minutes and had a nice "conversation" with a couple of employees over the next couple of days. They don't have the tow mirrors that I want, but are adding updated models mid/late September. I plan on waiting until they are available and if the price is decent, will purchase for my truck. Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation!
