2020 keys?
What do the keys for new XL and XLT trucks look like?
1. old school "just a key"?
2. fob only?
3. fob with attached key? If so, is key "fixed", or does it fold out, or retract???
We have many vehicles and I carry keys to most of them. Pockets are too small for a bunch of @#$% fobs!
Pictures appreciated.

Every truck except XL without power equipment group gets a FOB with folding key.

Thanks Ford390.
> FOB with folding key.
We have a Mazda with keyless entry and push button start. It has a removable key to open doors if fob batteries are dead.
Is they folding key that you describe have a similar purpose (only used on rare occasions), or is the key required to start vehicle?
What about XL with no PEG? Old school key?

Thanks all. So the XL (w/o PEG) has no fob and is just a regular key?

My XL comes with the FOB and a switchblade style key in it. I ordered the 2020 F350 with power equipment group so maybe without just the regular plain key.

Will the regular "just a key" work with a XL with PEG or a XLT? I understand that they don't come with that style of key, but would one work if purchased as a backup? I would imagine that it would at least work on the doors if it won't work in the ignition.

IIRC, in one of the “what did you do to your super duty” threads, someone did just that. I can see where that would be nice since you can use your phone for remote start and unlock.
EDIT: I did recall correctly! Here's the direct link to the post:
