Exsessive Blowby?
Hey guys, I was working on the engine today, when I pulled the PCV valve ´while the engine was running and there was some smoke coming out of the valve cover. I just don't know how much is normal. I have like an 8 second video. WARNING: Turn down your volume, the wind noise from the fan is deafening. Not a great clip and it's hard to see, but you can see the fumes in the light. Is it normal to have that amount of blowby? I will be rebuilding the engine soon anyway, but I still wanted to see if it was excessive.

There will always be some blow by an engine with a few miles on it, this is not too bad it's not great but not too bad either.
Really the best measure is a compression test and or a leak down test.
