In the process of installing a Built Right Dash Mount on my 2020 Lariat I lost three of the small white clips that lock the tabs in place. I lost two for the speaker cover and one for the center tray. I want to replace them so everything is tight. Does anyone know what the little white clip/retainer is called and a Ford part number?
Thanks
Did the same on my dash broke and lost the clips. And I was being careful too. My local dealer parts department had them. Not cheap either for what they are
I just did the same install, and broke a couple on my speaker, but didn’t break any on the tray… BUT, the mount shakes a ton when driving. Granted, I’m in an F350, with M/T tires, but super annoying. When I had the same mount in my F150, I never had an issue.
I wrote Bulletpoint to see if they had any recommendations. They said some people had success by replacing the plastic clips with metal ones from Amazon. Now I’m hoping to find some compatible metal clips.
Two questions…
1- Has anyone had success replacing the broken/lost plastic clips with metal ones? If so, which ones?
2- Did it solve any shaking?
