Hello yall. I've got a 2021 f250 6.2l. That max speed is governed to 65mph. Does anyone know how to set it back to the factory max? I would think it's something I would have to change in the as built possibly? The my key is disabled so it's not programmed to that unless I need to completely reprogram the keys. Anyone dealt with this? I know there's been plenty of post about removing the factory set one. I'm just trying to get it back to that.
Did you by chance purchase this used? If so, did the previous owner set a speed limit setting using the "Mykey" function on the FOB? If bought used, try erasing the "Mykey" settings tied to the FOB you are using.
Guessing this was a fleet truck you bought used. As said above, they likely used the Mykey settings to set a limiter. If not they actually changed the programming in the truck itself, in which case you either need to head to a dealer or get yourself ForScan to alter it yourself.

I would imagine a dealer could reset it.

It was an old fleet vehicle. I've deleted my key with forscan. I've looked in the pcm with forscan but don't see anything. Figured maybe they adjust as built but don't know what to change. I know the dealer can but don't really want to pay them $300‐$400.

I understand not wanting to pay for it, but unless you can get access to the 'as built' data to basically re-flash, then you're pretty much going to need to haul it to the dealer. They'll be able to download the as-built, reflash, and perform any software updates needed.
