I've seen some threads that were in reference to this but never for my year, mostly older. The dash lights says Drivers Door Ajar, there is no visible door switch so I assumed it was like the older models where the switch is part of the latch and did what everyone else said worked and sprayed the hell out of it with WD 40. No luck ! Anyone have any other suggestion s ?
The switch fails, or one of the plastic tongs breaks off so it doesn't sit 100% all the way in. I am not sure if your 2015 is the same as the earlier years. My switch would work/not work due to the broken tong. It's not a difficult fix, just remove the door card and get your arm in there. I was able to replace mine without having to complete latch assembly. Mind you I also added a Motorcraft power lock actuator when I replaced my door switch.
The switches are cheap and available from Rock Auto. To me, it's worth just replacing because I also added some sound deadening material to the door, which helps with road noise a decent amount.

So your saying I can replace the switch without replacing the whole latch, do you possibly have a past number for Rock Auto or what they call it ? Thanks
