Sure, I just went to eBay and went to solar controllers and then selected Victron. I tried to compare with Amazon pricing, but no guarantee. I was just putzing, Bay Marine is a Victron dealer, but there may also be others. Take a look and see what you think as I certainly could be wrong. The Victron website lists all 69 of their US dealers. Whether it is up to date, I have no idea. I didn't check all the eBay dealers, although it looked like their prices are all about the same. I also didn't run a broad Internet search.
Not sure if you glossed over the recommendation for unistrut, but I would suggest using it to span your rafters as well as providing an air gap.
Since I don't have a roof rack to bolt the unistrut too, I will have to fab the whole setup. Did you buy your parts at a big box or order them online. I downloaded the unistrut catalog, which really has a wide selection of parts. I am inclined to think aluminum to save weight than steel.
If anyone is interested in Victron charge controllers, Inverters R Us which is a legit Victron dealer has "open box" controllers on ebay right now at a substantial discount.
For example "Open Box Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/20 Solar Charge Controller" $157.25 on Amazon, $119.00 on eBay. I did call the dealer directly and was told these controllers carry the full factory warranty. They also have Open Box Victron SmartSolar Charge Controller with Built-In Bluetooth MPPT 75/15 for $99.00.
I linked to this picture from the DIYSolarForum.com. A guy was asking about using a rack system to mount solar panels. A question I have is, why not mount the crossbars directly to the existing roof rack?
Good picture. We just got home from camping in a state park for the last four days and the Victron 20 100 I ordered was waiting for me when I got home. Not much to installing that. Next step is deciding on the roof system. Not going huge here, probably 2-100s to start with. Now I can Blue Tooth my battery state of charge from our bedroom. Wow, how did I ever live without that?
