E300 tie rods

hi everybody,

I wonder if for a 1970 E300 the tie rods are the same as on another truck model because it's not easy to find.

If you find them they are probably expensive like this one!

hi,

I'm looking for all rubbers parts because on the van it's the original parts.

I ask if it possible to change with similar parts of another econoline or F truck model, cause it's true,the specific parts is expensive....

Our parts professional "NumbrerDummy" has not been online for a while but would have the information you need. I know that with the 80's vans, there are very few steering parts (if any) that will swap with the trucks.

If we had part numbers I am fairly good at locating parts and hate paying high prices... What i am seeing as of now is that something changed on the design in 1969. The parts listed below show they fit from 1969 to 1917 and 1969 to 1974... I just replaced the king pins and bushings in my 88 E150 and used a kit from 1975.

Well apparently some parts do interchange between the vans and trucks according to RockAutos charts. In my experience (which is limited) most van specific parts have a U in the prefix number. such as the king pin kit D2UZ-3111-B. U is normally Van specific and T is normally a Truck part.
