18 F-150 lease was up so I picked up this F-250! Love it! Do have a question about the 4x4. It's electronic so if I understand this correctly with hubs in auto simply shift on the cab and go. Then why the lock feature? Thanks
Side question: Does anyone know how to spot a 7.3 vs a 6.2? Back in the V10 days they used to get their own badge. I don't really see any external differences between them? Both could use either the 10.5 Rear axle or the M275 depending on F250/F350 & packages. Both lack engine badging on the door. Exhaust pipe looks the same?
The F150s have always had small clues as the base model trucks V6 trucks used the 8.8 rear end while the Ecoboost/5.0 trucks used the 9.75.

I think and I stress that, the exhaust pipe/tip is a little bigger. That's all I can tell.
Attachment 267940i found these on amazon. Ordered see what they are like. I'm sure here soon some nicer ones will be out.
I bought those for my 2000, silver, 7.3 diesel. Put one on each side of the hood. Will do the same with the 2020 7.3, I just ordered. They are nice if they are the same ones.
