On my 2018 F150 4 Dr P/U 2.7L I'm getting warnings telling me that my Blind Spot detection with cross traffic sensor, the tire pressure warning sensor and the restraint system have failed. When this happens the front windows don't work but the rear windows do. This has happened several times now! I have left it with my dealer for days and theys were never able to get the warnings to appear to find the fault. This has happened after driving for a while. I stop, shut it off and restart and I'm good to go. I just turned over 20k miles and have never had this issue happen previously. I'm concerned for a fire in the wiring!
Has anyone else experienced this?
No one here has reported your problem. I suspect that there is a wiring harness connector somewhere under the truck that isn't fully seated. Does it do this after driving in the rain or going through a car wash? Has the truck been in an accident and repaired?
Through the "Ford Pass" app, the issues get sent right to my cell phone So when I get to the dealer I can just show them the message. The Writer wasn't interested in reading it. Seems like the only issues they handle well is an oil change! What's the point of the app ???

I had an experience in the past with another lease where the dealer I visited said I had to go back to the selling dealer. Of course, that was here in MI!

This is total BS. The only difference between a lease and a purchase is that you have the option not to keep the truck. A purchased vehicle, and a lease, can be serviced by any authorized dealer. What if you are out of town/state and have a warranty issue? You telling me you have to have it towed back to the "selling" dealer? No F'ing way.
Yeah, I know about MI..... wife was born and grew up there. Damn beautiful place but a bit not to my liking as far as living there goes. Too damn cold for too damn long for me.....
If you can manage it, the next time this happens, drive directly to the nearest Ford or Lincoln dealer. Do not turn the vehicle off until a tech has read the codes that are stored in the diagnostic system. It's not uncommon for a tech to be "unable to duplicate the problem" if the vehicle has been shut off and the codes cleared. It's always easier to fix something when it is broken.
Thanks for your response! I have an app called Ford Pass on my cell which gets notified each time an issue occurs on my truck so all are still on my phone which doesn't help mechanic. So I've been driving around trying to get the issues to pop up again so I could go right to the dealer. It hasn't happened in a month now. There are 3 connectors under the hood on the driver side. I made sure they were connected tightly. Maybe a loose connector was the problem? Time will tell! Thanks again!
