These are 3 weeks old so as long as she keeps interacting with them they should be tame.
The radio in the Envoy is good, it's the speakers that are bad. For 50 bucks I can 4 new speakers from Walmart and get that working again. I was messing with the rear actuators to see if they were jamming and found that the rear heater core is leaking, I ordered one off of Amazon and be here in a few days. I thought I smelled ant-freeze the other day when I was driving it home. So only a couple of little things and it will be 100% again.
She tried to hatch 3 eggs, 2 were duds and one died before it hatched, that's why we ended up buying the 2 chicks.
I didn't buy the speakers at Walmart, I ordered some off Amazon. It's not a huge rush since I'm waiting on the heater core and the actuator to come in sometime next week. The wife told the mom everything that I found wrong with the GMC. She apologized she didn't know, I said it's no big deal. We would have ended up buying the parts and fixing it anyway.
Nothing really new, still waiting on the heater core to come in for the GMC. My mom has taken a turn for the worst, praying she makes it thru but it's not looking good right now.
The new door speakers came in today for the GMC, still waiting on the wiring adapters so I don't have to hack into the factory speaker wiring harness.
My sister left out some details, mom is sick but seems to be slowly getting better. Long sorted details.
The vent visors came in for the GMC today but I won't mess with it till the weekend.
What a day, I locked the dang keys to the GMC inside the GMC and there is no spare. So it is going to cost me 80 bucks for the guy to come out and open the truck but I am also getting a spare key so this does not happen again. Unreal.
Took the day off of work, if I had a rude customer I probibly get into trouble after I cussed them out.
sorry for your mom. if you need to talk call me or text. will say a prayer for you and your family. Sorry did not respond sooner. Sunday after church we brought the camper up to Cartersville, so I could work on dump truck . What should have been an easy pull up here set up and relax did not happen. we stoppped at HF pulled up behind a boat trailer. Guy (disabled vet) had 2 blow out on the right side of his trailer. He had bought new tires but did not have time to get them mounted, so 2 hours later his new tires were on his trailer. had a hard time getting to sit on the beads. Got up yesterday drove down to Canton. Had to cut back a bunch of brush to get the dump truck up the hill. Tires spinning all the way up. Slung both belts off. Got it up the hill fairly level spot. The plain was to pull the front tires take the one bad one to tire shop to swap the wheel.(did not happen till 230) replace the rubber brake lines, rebuild the calipers, tires back on and do the steel lines on the frame(one bad). Then do the rears Well that plan work up till we started trying to break fittings loose. 29 years of never being touched. So new plan cut out bad line and splice new one. Tighten up the few we got loose. Bleed the brakes and if the work we are good to go. Put the front tire on and replace the rears. At least we got the rear lug nuts loose. Headed home zero dark 30 in the morning have a dr appointment at 930
Thanks for the prayers. It's hard but I'm dealing with it. My mom was at my retirement ceremony so you may have seen her. I took yesterday off of work because I do not think I could handle a rude customer.
In a haste to order a heater core to fix the GMC I ordered the wrong one. They make 2 different ones, one with a flat mounting plate and one without. The right one will be delivered on Friday. I got all the speakers replaced so now I can hear the radio. I also got all the vent visors installed too.
Drove the new caddy down to Florida and it gets outstanding gas mileage. I think we can go to Orlando on less than one tank of fuel which we have never done in anything we drove down.
Called and checked on my step dad yesterday, he is doing OK, He is trying to deal with all the people and paperwork that he has to get done.
Still waiting on the rear heater core to come in for the GMC, supposed to be tomorrow. I like driving the Hummmer but that thing loves the gas!
I sure can't wait till our vacation.
