Does any one have a electrcal schematic drawing of the door locks for my 1999 E350 Cargo van? The lock on the sliding door does not work and I have tested the actuator and it works fine. Thanks, Nick
I found 3 diagrams for 99, one didn't have a slider/side door motor.
Here are the other two...
'Memory Lock' Option
E350 Memory Locks
E350 Keyless Entry
If it's only the slider, I would be looking at the functions of the 'Button Contact' in the pink and black wire. I assume it has something to do with the door being open or closed, but I'm not sure. I definately will make that lock not work if it's stuck or faulty or unplugged!
Because I feel bad for providing documentation that was not accurate the first time around, I wanted to drop these wiring diagrams in that appear to be different than what @kbeefy provided. My diagrams are not color coded and look to be childsplay compared to his, but I try to do what I can.
Maybe between the two of us @Nick 99 will be able to fix his issue.
These diagrams are associated with a 2000 Econoline, I don't have anything for a 1999.
Wow! Thanks guys. From the testing I have done, it appears the the memory module has lost it's memory! Unfortunately I have to pull out the paneling to get to the module. Maybe there is. A way to bypass the module. This is gonna be a pain, cause I have two seats from a passenger van that have to come out before I can get the paneling out to expose the module! My van is a cargo van that has the additional seating for my trips to Baja, pulling tge boat.
I would be curious as to what would happen if you were to jumper the Pink/Blk wire from either the output of either lock switches, input for front door lock actuators or near/at S239 (Lower IP harness near Breakout to s200) or basically anything Pink/Black in the front door circuit to the Pink/BLK wire in the sliding door circuit, bypassing the 'Memory Module'.
