Door Locks - NOT actuator problem, please help
Hello,
I have a 2004 F250 Crew and I am having issues with my door locks, my driver's side front door only works about 30 percent of the time. I know what you're thinking, this guy needs a new actuator! Well I have experienced bad actuators on past trucks and I believe this could be a different problem.
In the past when I have had actuators go bad on me the locks move slower and slower with less power until they can no longer lock/unlock the door. The issue I am experiencing is that it seems as though there is no juice going to the driver's front door and the driver's rear door at times. Occasionally the driver's front door will lock/unlock with the switch/remote/keypad, the back one doesn't respond to anything (not even a slight twitch).
Hopefully it is something simple, thanks for the help.

take a can of WD-40 and a screwdriver
spray the hell out of the door lock/actuator with the WD-40
then take the screwdriver and cycle the mechanism a bunch.
do this several times. it's almost a 99% effective trick. over the years, the mechanism gets gummed up and they stop working, or work slower.
Both my F-250 and my Excursion did this. After the WD-40 trick, the locks started working again no problems. Good luck
