Same here, but the passenger one works, just the driver side doesn't. I took off the door panel and looked like it was a faulty lock actuator, but I haven't actually had a new one put in because there's practically no point.
Is there an actuator on each door-or just one operating both doors, because it seems strange that both doors had the same problem at the same time, maybe some kind of electrical relay switch works the door locks!
Check the wires exit from the left and right doors (pnk/blk, pnk/org) - there must be a damage non far from the each door. If you need a wiring diagram - send me your e-mail to alternate152@mail.ru
You have no additional relay - the power came right from the door lock swithes - if the power on RH and LH swithes fail then no actuator work. Your rear actuator work it seems that the swithes work (rear actuator work from left and right swith?) - it is the damage of the wiring or both actuators (0.00000001%).
I'm also experiencing the problem with both doors at the same time but when you operate the swithces you get some action at both locks like they're trying but don't have the power. I'll check the wiring next and pull the actuators to get a closer look there.
Are the actuators available in the aftermarket? The dealer want's $42 each. What a rip off for these little electromagnets.
Where the locks do not work at all, especially where they salt the roads, the most likely problem is the bullet part inside the connectors have rotted out.
There are two connectors for the harness, one under the hood on the driver's fender and the other under the radiator support on the right hand side near the battery.
You can replace them with water proof trailer harness connectors or buy better ones from West Marine. The splices should be the self-sealing butt connectors were you use a heat gun to melt the glue around the connector after crimping it.
Well, the UNLOCK on the driver's side will unlock both doors, but the LOCK doesn't function on either. On the passengers side, the LOCK will lock both doors, but the UNLOCK won't work on either.
So, to lock both doors, I have to reach over and push the passenger side LOCK button! I just wanna hook up one of those remote lock/unlock kits, eventually....
