C4AE 9425-E "S" CODE 4BBL CAST IRON INTAKE, Supposed to be from 67-68 428. Is it worth anything? Is it better than an Edelbrock Performer 390? Saw it for sale on CL, no price listed.

Depending on what you have and/or trying to do, the EDEL would be a better choice for flow and weight (IMO).
It was just something I saw on C.L. and was curious about. I own two FE Engines. One has the Edelbrock performer 390, which suits my purposes well enough. The other has a cast Iron 2bbl intake that it is supposed to have. So, just curious.

If you just want a cheap ($$$) 4V intake, it will be good for the conversion from a 2V. It will not outflow the EDEL.
The main difference will be weight. Edel about 50 lbs. lighter. You won't feel much if any difference in performance. If priced right it'd be a good addition for your 2 throat motor.
