Most people hate change but eventually, most people adapt and come to like and appreciate said change or changes.
Kind of like the going from the 6 speed to the 10 speed transmission or the total removal of manual transmissions from 1/2 tons to totally automatic with some manual qualities.
I don’t know about others but I surely don’t miss driving a stick shift vehicle while sitting in traffic here in Atlanta.

I was looking at a super cheap Jeep a few years ago and discovered it didn't have auto trans. The salesman asked me if I could drive a stick shift. I told him that I could but that I was not going to.

If I were in your shoes, I would have done the same thing.
I learned how to drive on a manual equipped vehicle but I can honestly say that I don’t miss it at all.

Lol.........I’ve been one with many a stick shift Mustangs spanning over 25 years and my love of stick shift cars has run it’s course but we divorced on good terms. Lol 😂.
Even though trucks don’t have them, I’m really looking forward to driving a DCT equipped vehicle one day.
