changing from column shifter

I want to get rid of the column shifter and install a console shifter. Is there a clean looking replacement for the shift collar on the column?"

I just ground the side smoothe and JB Welded the opening. It still looks fine 20 years later. The bad thing is that all the floor shifters for the 3 speed are rattlers. The best one I could find was the Hurst/Indy and was not much better than a Sparkomatic. I have a 4-speed now and the shifter never makes a sound. I never could find a quality 3-speed shifter.

i put a b and m floor shifter in my truck and i got a column from a truck with a four speed and i just replaced it. it looks clean, and original too

I'm using a c6 auto and bucket seat and console system from a car. I have to build a platform but the shifter is cable operated and should be quiet.
