Would anyone know where one could find a pigtail for 1979 ignition switch? Or is it possible to push the wires out of my existing switch and crimp new ends with new wires? Mine is in bad shape and the PO did his best but it's only a matter of time before a wire breaks off. I have searched in the usual places but can only find a pigtail for a 76. I tried the Econoline route as well. I looked on youtube for a video to re-pin it but no luck. Help or ideas appreciated.

The terminals have a small tab that you can depress and pull the terminal out of the shell.
Ford uses terminals that are called "non-insulated open barrel terminals", they take a special pair of crimping pliers, regular ones won't work.
In the second picture you can see the locking tab that needs to be depressed on the bottom.

1978/79 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline.
GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 6 = 800-543-4959.
Thanks all, I believe I will try to re-pin it. Great photos and description. The LMC one although it appears when you type in 1979 is actually a 1976. I know because I ordered it by mistake. Somewhat deceptive on LMC's part. Cost more to ship it back. My ignition plug is in good shape so I'll re-use it. Again thanks everyone

EDIT 10/13/2022 Note: This 1978/79 switch is marked: D8TB-11572-AA
1970/76 ignition switch (D0TZ-11572-A) is different again!
