I have a2002 f350 with the v10. My problem is that the od light is flashing and has no power when shifted into either a forward gear or reverse. Runs great in neutral and park. Put new solenoid pack in tranny and still have same problem. The problem started after I installed a new fuel pump. Truck ran perfect before that. If anyone has any suggestions please help.
The ONLY way to fix this is to read the codes. Without the codes, all you can do is waste money buying parts like solenoid packs. Why would you spend all that money without knowing that the solenoids are the problem? If you had the codes it would point you right at the problem.
The places that read codes free CANNOT read these codes. You need Forscan, or a good independent shop, or a Ford dealer to read the codes.

I replaced the solenoid pack after I had talked to who I thought to be reliable sources. Guess I was wrong.
