That is restaurant quality presentation. Looking good.

I went to harvest some more wild mustard. Flowers have bloomed, been pollinated, and seed pods are growing. I almost got stung by a bee. I think I will have to leave those alone until I can harvest mustard seed.

Thank you. It tasted really good too. This recipe is now on our short list b/c it went together very quickly and easily.

That is the mustard seed sold in the grocery store. The leaves are really good sauteed with olive oil, garlic, salt & pepper, with zest of lemon. It's like spinach the way it cooks down. I harvest some of the seed. Enough seed drops that I see the plant return. Just like wild fennel. Some of the plants this year are about 7' tall, and still growing.

speaking of military surplus , does anybody know where one is , the store in Modesto burnt down, well part of it , the guy now take the rest to the flea market , I’m looking for the old style Jerry can ( spout gasket) I have two cans , one threads in side and the other has a crush gasket with exterior lever , nooo body has them, tried to rig one up at the depot with a fernly pipe gasket , the problem fernlys 2” is not the same as the crush 2” , needs to be more like 1 7/8” or even 1 3/4” and crush inter threads of the can when pushed down and locked .

I think that the "surplus stores" are disappearing from the landscape. Retail has shifted to online sales. For something so obscure as a gasket.....you may have to look for specialty vendors like plumbing suppliers who have access to full line catalogs from gasket companies.
