My coupe has a lokar in it without an indicator only the sequence printed on the **** which I though might be an issue especially for my wife but no prob . And yes they have very nice crisp detents and locking .
I used the Lokar 30 " nostalgia, "swan neck" look on my AOD trans.
It just clears both the seat and the dash, getting all gears. It does not have the shift position indictor but I know from feel and shift pattern that I am in the right gear.
I did keep the original shift and once thought of incorporating it with the linkage from a Thunderbird with AOD, but opted for the off shelf install.
