I bought a 5 gal bucket of the Evapo Rust some time ago, it has the same advertising and seems to work fine. I don't use it often but when I needed it it did the job.
I used to use Phosphoric acid that is very hard to get now.
A salesman talked into a 5 gallons of water based rust remover that is crap, it does not work.
Plus I only heat my shop when I am there so it froze solid this winter.
Looks like a phosphoric acid product but the site sates "No acids or VOCs"
I've had good luck with Krud Buster's phosphoric product but it'd be nice to have a non acid alternative.
Side story, I had to tin some copper buss bars a few years back and used muriatic acid to clean them. I've read some people like to use this for removing rust, it's in the pool supply section. I suggest never using this stuff. First, it was very strong. I open the bottle and accidentally got a wiff, almost knocked me out. Second, I came back into my shop the next day and every piece of steel within ten feet had a layer of rust on it. I only used a small amount and had the gallon jug, sealed, in my shop for a year. Finally bought a bunch of baking soda, poured the acid in a 5 gallon pail and added the baking soda in to neutralize it. What a total PIA.
Came in a foil package .Why pay to ship water ? Mix it w/ water in a 5 gal . pail . Insert rusty item & leave over night . Works fine . Some before & after pics . 70 yr. old parts & the fan set screw removed w/ out any assistance of heat or pressure . Same w/ the fan of the shaft / Amazing !

Is this the Rust Release product ? When I check their web site I can not see a powder type product, just liquid and paste. Do you have the part number or model type ? Thanks.
Industrial Rust Eliminator Concentrate 5 gal . Comes in resealable foil packet . 1 cup / gal of H2O . alaso-chem seller on upay . I left the items in over night , remove in morning rinse of & blow dry . Sure is going to cut down on the media blast time .
Am liking the rust remover more & more every day .Found that the fans for the Magic Air & FORD script fresh air heaters were made by The Torrington Mfg. Co. , Torrington , Conn.
