Can we just talk??
I'm responsible for the air conditioning systems for the the PhD's working in the R&D facility and mice with humanized immune systems.
Luckily I can do my job from home. I can remotely monitor all the critical systems from the comfort of my recliner. I've been able to avoid driving my car and the 37 mile commute for two weeks. I can drive my truck the 3 miles to the grocery store. As long as I don't get sick and we can keep from overwhelming the hospitals (like Italy and Spain) it's not so bad.
Live in Lancaster, Ca. We have 1 adult child, Stacey, who lives with her fiance in Carlsbad Ca.I was in the auto parts business for about 35 years....25 in the auto salvage business & 10 in a Chevy dealer. I currently have a pool service route & looking to retire soon.
I've owned my 55 f100 since '73, & it was my first vehicle. Ive been bringing it back to life for the last 5 yrs & still have a lot to do. Working on the wiring right now.
I've been riding dirt bikes since I was 15, but not as much as I used to lately.
We do a lot of camping through out the year. Try to go once a month. ( probably why its taking so long to get the truck done)

The valve cover is supposed to be silver, the hub caps are supposed to be painted silver instead of chrome and the leaky oil bath air cleaner is long gone but almost everything else is pretty much stock. The poodle is only 3 years old but likes me working from home.

Lots of wildlife here and right now busy cleaning up from a wicked wind storm a few weeks ago. Lots of trees down.
We have a daughter, a nurse, son in law, college professor and 2 year old grandson who live in Massachusetts but soon to be Colorado Springs. my name is Rico, I’m 46 years old, married since 2000 and father of two daughters (17 and 19 ys.). I’m a structural engineer and I’m running my own business with a companion and 10 employees. My daily driver car is a Mercedes GLC AMG 63. My vintage cars are a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible and - the reason why I’m here in this forum - a 1956 Ford F100. Oh, I almost forgot: I live in Germany, just 50 miles away from Cologne. That part of the country is called “Western forest - Westerwald”. Besides working on my cars I’m a cyclist.
I've been on this site from almost the beginning before there was multiple pages, when we received a daily digest of what was posted. I think that was around 1996.
I've been a Fat Fendered Ford Truck fan since 1969 when my dad bought his 1949 F-2 use in his auto repair shop. It was a rusty wreck when he bought and after driving for a few years he left it sit on the side of the drive. In the early '80s I tore it apart once and then again in the late '80s.
I also have a '48 panel and a 48/52 F-4 and a '37 Buick. The panel is driveable but the F-4 and Buick are what I like to say half together.I
I've been married to my wife Michelle for 32 1/2 years and have two sons Charlie, 29 and Andy, 27. I own an industrial control panel shop, I build the boxes you see in factories with all the lights and switches.
