Imagine that no one can actually watch it so it doesn't matter if a ton of time passes or not or even if time exists for a long long passage of wave / particles of imaginary images. So by stepping away from the looking glass and imagining stuff does it happen? You know a Bacteria knows a White Cell is after it and it can't see crap, neither can the White cell but they sense, imagine each other and the bacteria will run like hell to escape the white cell trying to surround / ingulf / digest it. Which has the better imagination ? Is imagination responsible for the development of eyes. Or was it photons on the skin. Imagine it was both, the warmth feeling on the skin and imagination. I noticed the other day that Intel has gone above the i5 / i7/ i9 / i16 to the i24... Can I imagine a day when I won't have to buy one of these? Watch a fish suspended in the water all afternoon, nothing to do, not hungry, why does it point toward the sun all afternoon is it dreaming about walking out ?

 

Maybe understanding Alien travel is best explained with potential of energy thoughts. Energy needs heat. Enough heat and stuff gets excited and jumps someplace else. So the Constant factor is cold. The Colder it is the less energy. Sure Thas a no brainer. So, we can look at the Center of the Milky Way, Lots of hyper active energy there, some escaping outward and a lot getting swallowed up into an intensely cold region called the super massive black hole. Now the natural thing for energy to do is blast away toward an area that is needing it. Much like a battery has a Positive pole with lots of Electrons and a Negative pole dreaming of having some electrons. Now this gets complicated because the Positive post is actually where the Electrons are stored and their negatively charged but thas really a no brainer. All it needs is a completed path of conduction. But without a load the thing will blow up as in a Short circuit. Put a load such as a light bulb or a motor and the current will be stabilized and keep going until the positive electron area is depleted and the negative area has done its stuff also with the loss of power caused by resistance of the medium the power passed thru. So, are you following the theory. As the power is Created also is reduced, it doesn't exactly disappear, it just changes like resistance to it, its flow be it gravity, banging into stuff, wrecks, etc.... Now imagine an alien with a lot of power in his tank. Does he really want to waste a lot of it coming to visit a really low power planet with a negative plate. Most likely not. Imagine it, would you give a dam about us. Would you just keep collecting energy, power for your bucket list? Again intense cold is the Constant Culprit, just like you going out shivering, not being able to pry open your frozen door on you frozen F150, getting it started with the Key Fob remote start 3 or 4 times while waiting 1/2 hour for it to get the energy to warm up and unlock the doors. Thas nothing like the Cold of Space. Maybe the end all imagination is just be happy. Out there in deep space is a purr - fact - Hell. Imagine highly intelligent life forms knowing they have to collect all the energy they can to survive, Solar Cells atop everything, only a few areas where they can walk open spaces on ground, seeing a stream flow & some frog like creature Croke or a fish like thing splash, or sunlight actually warming their rather wrinkled skin. They not having unlimited fossil fuels, burned millions of years earlier, fuels, Fusion all used up & to learn the end all, a no brainer. Their Star dying of old age and their cool, they know they did good. also a no brainer. All those Civilizations learn how to communicate with each other eventually. Consciousness is a really cool invention of imagination isn't it. Planning to travel 50,000 light years, well; it the intense cold will absorb so much heat, there will be no energy left. Go outside, make a snowball, open the frozen Nitrogen and drop it in, watch what happens, and thats not the intense cold of Deep space. Imagine frozen so cold atoms quit moving! Most likely Voyager is experiencing the Cold of Deep space. Voyager 2 will most likely do the same.

 

If earth is the prison planet, then the aliens must be the wardens.
