2020-2022 Super Duty FORScan Spreadsheet

I have a '22 F-450 4X4. It gets horrible fuel mileage. Probably average 13 mpg riding around unloaded doing Christmas shopping. This is my 2nd 22 F-450. I traded my "old" one at 18k miles and it got crappy mileage too. 4.30 gears are stupid. It needs 3.31 or whatever. It has a 10 speed transmission, so low gears are not a problem. I backup all the time. The truck redlines at 7mph in reverse. My old 2003 f350 V10 would do 40mph+ in reverse. I think the 4.30 gears are the absolute worst part about F-450's. The truck also has 4X4 low range but I can't imagine any reason to use it.

Good morning
I changed the power mirrors originally in the regular dash options to auto fold at lock and unlock when I first bought the truck. Then last week I went into the as built module and changed the mirrors to the Lincoln mod. So now what happens is. I unlock the doors and I can open all other doors and close. Mirrors stay in closed mode. When I open the drivers side door, at that time the mirrors open. Then again when I lock doors, mirrors fold back in. I'm okay with this but I thought that they would only open with ignition on and close when off. What is the correct answer ? 2022 F-350 Thanks

Hello.
new to forscan. Started off changing my tank size after Titan install. Easy and amazing.
Got a few other things figured out too, really neat.
Need help though, according to the spreadsheet floating around on here, there are some other functions I’d like to get into, but can’t seem to find.
I have the latest version of forscan as of a few days ago 2.3.50
is it possible things have changed and are no longer accessible?
for instance, I’m trying to enable the heated/cooled seats on the sync screen.
also enable the DPF percentage and maybe a few other things.
I can only find things in plain language and none of the code things as I’ve seen online.
is this part of the new version or am I missing something?

If you previously used Forscan and have since updated the version, make sure you don't use a previously loaded profile when starting up. Just select no and let it read all the modules and start new. As far as the codes, the spreadsheet linked in the Forscan sticky should have all that you are looking for. There are some other spreadsheets out there too, but this is likely the best for our Super Duties.

I was able to find the setting to add the seat climate icons to the screen, but it was nothing at all like the spreadsheet or any other directions I’ve found.
I think things are different in the program now.
I’d like to add the temps to my gauges and also the dpf percentage. I don’t see any language that indicates those options though.
Is there a dictionary of all the descriptions somewhere?

Ok lots of reading done and I now understand there are two ways to make changes.
As built format (code) and plain language.
Tried to make some changes using the as built format but not really clear on what characters are being changed. The spreadsheet shows “x”s and “*” along with the value to replace them with.
is there a good tutorial showing this part of the process? I’m still searching for that…

I had gone through most of that, turns out my problem was with the adapter I was using. It was a Bluetooth interface I borrowed from someone and it couldn’t handle all the functions.
I ordered a good one (obdlink EX) and then tried again, not using previously saved profile.
That did it, now every module is accessible.
i was missing about 2/3 of them!
Got mostly everything I wanted added through the plain language menus.
global open/close still giving me a little trouble.
front windows open. Can’t get them to close.

make sure you are backing up your modules

Screenshot from FAQ
have you downloaded your factory AsBuilt?
Connect into ForScan
Do not use saved profile (no need to ever save profile)
go to modules (computer chip)
load module AsBuilt
Bottom of screen “Save All”
ok to default name and location
That module is now backed up.
since you have already made changes I would document what you have done for future reference.
hope this helps

#1 thing. Back up any module you are changing.
