old truck video, not Ford but entertaining

Old Dodge sales video showing torture testing big trucks. The first two minutes are entertaining. The rest is somewhat interesting, but mostly sales propaganda.

those drivers really had some stones!! They must have really take a beating, almost as much or more than the trucks!

I can tell you from experience at being a test driver that those trucks are dismantled and scrapped afterwards. Nowadays all of those gyrations, chassis movements, and vibrations are duplicated on hydraulic "shaker beds" and run by software for even longer periods.

They had to be strapped down really well. Hell, I went over 3" speed bumps in the school driveway going way below the posted limit in my F-2 and jammed my head into the ceiling of the cab compressing my neck. It hurt for a couple of days. I learned to come to almost a stop before going over any bump in the road.
