P1275 code and fried idms
So truck is a 2001 with a zf6. Has 128k on the clock. I have been through 3 idms since I bought it. After the second burnt up I ohmed everything with a multi meter and cylinder 5 had 90 ohms and cylinder 7 ohmed open. Took valve cover off and the harness had came undone on one end. Plugged back in, put a quart under the clip and all the cylinders ohmed out okay. Installed new to me idm and did buzz test which came back with P1275. Asked local powerstroke mechanic if it's okay to drive like that and he said it just needed the injector relay shimmied but should be fine to drive. So drove for the last 3 days and fried idm number 3 this morning. Any help or ideas on why its doing this would be much appreciated
